Report: Former Panther Luke Kuechly named Netflix's top NFL analyst ahead of HOF enshrinement

Hall of Fame linebacker Luke Kuechly will be enshrined in 10 days, but he's gearing up to dominate at his new job as well.

On Tuesday, Kuechly was named Netflix's new top NFL game analyst for games broadcast on the streaming service. 

According to reports, Kuechly will first team up with Noah Eagle during the second game of the regular season on Thursday, Sept. 10, when the Los Angeles Rams face the San Francisco 49ers in Australia. NBC is producing the game for Netflix.

Reports indicated that Kuechly and Eagle showed immediate chemistry during his tryout, according to The Athletic, which spoke to sources who watched his audition.

Netflix will broadcast five games this season, including a Christmas Day doubleheader.

Kuechly is considered one of the greatest Carolina Panthers of all time, recording 1,092 tackles and 18 interceptions in just eight seasons with the team.

Kuechly was also dominant during his short career, being voted to the first-team All-Pro five times, making seven Pro Bowls, and winning the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award in 2012 andthe  AP Defensive Player of the Year the following year.

The Panthers will face the Arizona Cardinals for the first preseason game of the year in Canton, Ohio. The game airs Aug. 9 on WRAL, the day after the NFL Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony.
