Coaches named for the 2027 NCCA East-West All-Star Games

The North Carolina Coaches Association's Board of Directors has announced the selected coaches for the 2027 East-West All-Star Games.

The NCCA splits the East and West by NCHSAA districts. Districts 1-4 make up the East and districts 5-8 make up the West.

All-Star games are played in football, boys and girls basketball, and boys and girls soccer.

The 2027 Basketball East-West All-Star Games celebrating the graduating class of 2027 will be played on July 20, 2027 at the Novant Health Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The NCCA also puts together North Carolina All-Star teams for boys and girls basketball to face the South Carolina All-Stars in the Carolinas' Classic. Those games will be played at Dorman High School in Spartanburg on March 20, 2027.

Boys and girls soccer East-West All-Star Games will be played one day after the East-West basketball games, on July 21, 2027. It will return to Truist Point Stadium in High Point, which was used for the first time this year. Previously, the East-West soccer games did not have an assistant coach for either side. An assistant coach is being added in 2028. Further, the assistant coaches in 2027 will return as the head coaches in 2028.

The 2027 Football East-West All-Star Game will be played the week following state championships at Jamieson Stadium on the campus of Grimsley High School. That game will feature players in the graduating class of 2028.
