Police investigating serious crash on US-70 in Johnston County

Police are investigating after a serious crash Saturday afternoon in Johnston County.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 70 near Swift Creek Road in the Wilson's Mills area.

Video from the WRAL Breaking News Tracker shows a red sedan and a large tow truck both involved in the crash. The sedan had heavy damage.

WRAL reached out to the Wilson's Mills Police Department to learn if anyone was injured and how the crash happened.
