Man in wheelchair killed in crash on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh

A man in a wheelchair was hit and killed on Glenwood Avenue early Thursday morning. 

It happened at the intersection of Hilburn Drive just before 2:45 a.m. The driver of the vehicle appeared to stay on scene as police worked through the investigation. 

The name of the person killed was not identified. 

WRAL News is working to learn if any charges will be filed against the driver.
